Strategic Sales Notes
Sandra doesn't yet know Ray is touring communities - approach the move gently. Ray (brother, caregiver, decision maker) prefers phone calls. Both retired ER nurses. Targeting a spring two-bedroom once her Amesbury home sells.
ECP Intelligence·Prospect Summary
Sandra is a warm Assisted Living prospect driven by her brother and caregiver, Raymond, who is the decision maker and prefers phone calls. The pair have toured twice, joined the Christmas party, and love the community - they want a two-bedroom and plan to move together in the spring once Sandra's Amesbury home sells. The key sensitivity is that Sandra doesn't yet know Ray is looking at Atria, and a two-bedroom may open by year-end - ahead of their timeline.
Watch-outs

Discovery
Biography
Sandra, 80, was an R.N. her whole life - 50 years in the ER, where she became head of the department. Her brother Raymond, 75, is also a retired nurse. Neither ever married or had children. Ray owned a home in Maine (and earlier one in Florida, sold about 18 months ago) but decided to sell and move in with Sandra at her Amesbury home of 33 years, where he is now her full-time caregiver. They love to travel together, and Ray is very social - a big family in Sandford and a cabin at Cape Arundel.
What prompted the search
Sandra fell at home one night getting up to use the bathroom, fracturing her wrist and arm; she had an earlier fall as well. She's just out of her cast and learning to walk with a walker. Ray does not see a path to her living independently and is seeking Assisted Living, with help recently started from the VNA.
Objections
Sandra does not know that Ray is looking at Atria yet, so how she'll feel about a move is still up in the air. That said, she's had friends live at the community and has had good interactions with Atria in the past.
Health notes
4'10" and recently down to ~84 lbs after losing about 30 lbs, so nutrition is a current focus. Stopped driving a few months ago and is not expected to return to it.
